Leading medical geneticists of Russia held a conference in Petrozavodsk
NewsA conference with international participation "Epigenetics, genomics and the future of personalized medicine" was held in Petrozavodsk. The event of the Moscow Society of Medical Geneticists brought together leading geneticists, oncologists, surgeons and hematologists to discuss advanced diagnostic and treatment methods based on individual genetic characteristics of patients.
"Such an exchange of experience is not just between different doctors, not just between scientists, but also between regions – it allows us to develop, allows us to share our experience and improve our competencies. It is especially important that we are connected with Karelia by such a long–term scientific friendship," said Natalia Bodunova, head of the Center for Personalized Medicine MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.
