MCSC experts at the Gastro Summit in Istanbul
NewsThe Gastrosammit 2026 was held in Istanbul (Turkey) – one of the most significant international scientific events on gastroenterology, organized with the support of the Association of Gastroenterologists of the Global South.
- Leading experts from 26 countries participated.
Experts of the MCSC made oral presentations within the framework of the scientific section:
- Bordin Dmitry Stanislavovich, MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Pathology of the pancreas, biliary tract and Upper digestive tract.
- Kiryukova Maria Anatolyevna, Ph.D., gastroenterologist of the Center for Complex Diagnostics, M.Sc. of the Department of Pathology of the pancreas, biliary tract and upper digestive tract.
- Chebotareva Margarita Viktorovna, M.Sc. Laboratory of functional diagnostics of diseases of the esophagus and stomach.
The reports concerned an in-depth study of the problems of dyspepsia, exocrine insufficiency, as well as the analysis of a rare clinical case of abdominal-diaphragmatic dissynergy, which aroused great interest of the audience.
Special attention of the Summit audience was focused on the poster session, where the team of authors of our Center presented 6 reports at once on global research on the mechanisms of diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection, pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis, the development of achalasia and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
