Liver transplantation at MCSC
A liver transplant program has been launched at the A. S. Loginov MCSC.
Indications for transplantation can serve as various diseases and pathologies:
- oncological diseases;
- acute liver failure;
- severe viral hepatitis;
- hemochromatosis;
- cirrhosis of the liver in the late stages;
- Wilson-Konovalov disease;
- cirrhotic form of cystic fibrosis.
The first patients of the MCSC with terminal liver diseases have already been successfully operated on, which gave them hope for a new life.
