Contrast mammography. Says the MCSC expert
Today, the main method of diagnosing breast cancer is mammography.
- However, in some cases, its capabilities are not enough.One of the main difficulties in reading mammographic images is attributed by experts to the dense radiological background of the breast.
- It can obstruct the passage of X-rays and, thus, mask suspicious areas and formations.
Contrast mammography is a modern and innovative method of diagnosing early breast cancer, regardless of the density of the X–ray background.
