November 14 – World Diabetes Day and Endocrinologist's Day
On November 14, two professional holidays are celebrated all over the world at once – World Diabetes Day and Endocrinologist's Day.
Exactly 100 years ago, in 1922, the first insulin injection in history was given to Leonard Thompson, a 14-year-old boy with diabetes.
Over the past 100 years, there have been many changes and discoveries in the treatment of diabetes that make life more comfortable for people with diabetes.
Colleagues, we congratulate you on your professional holiday, wish you interesting scientific and practical work and new discoveries!
