On November 14, two professional holidays are celebrated all over the world at once – World Diabetes Day and Endocrinologist's Day.
Exactly 100 years ago, in 1922, the first insulin injection in history was given to Leonard Thompson, a 14-year-old boy with diabetes.
Over the past 100 years, there have been many changes and discoveries in the treatment of diabetes that make life more comfortable for people with diabetes.
