Month of attention to the problem of breast cancer
At the initiative of the World Health Organization, October is recognized worldwide as the month of the fight against breast cancer (breast cancer). It is dedicated to raising people's awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
2,300,000 cases of breast cancer are detected annually in the world, more than 57,000 cases in Russia, about 40% of them in the late stages.
- At the same time, the disease is well diagnosed and effectively treated if it can be detected at an early stage.
