Biological material from it was taken for further histological examination. According to its results, the presence of malignant cells in the stomach was confirmed.
Additionally, the patient underwent endosonography-an endoscopic examination combined with ultrasound. This procedure allows you to determine the depth of the stomach lesion and helps determine further treatment tactics. The patient was affected by almost 2/3 of the organ wall.

According to the results of the diagnosis, the patient was referred to the surgeons of the Center for further surgical treatment.
Stomach cancer is a malignant tumor that develops from the cells of the mucous membrane of the organ. It ranks fifth among all cancers in terms of prevalence. In the early stages, stomach cancer either has no symptoms at all, or masquerades as other diseases: gastritis, exacerbation of peptic ulcer disease.
