This will help to quickly assess the patient's complaints and form the questions necessary to clarify the diagnosis.

Thanks to the unified digital healthcare platform of Moscow, a new service for citizens and general practitioners of Moscow polyclinics-a chatbot based on artificial intelligence — appeared in February this year. With it, the patient can report their symptoms and complaints even before seeing a doctor. Since the beginning of the project, Muscovites have received almost 200 thousand links to a survey on collecting complaints by a chatbot.

To use the chatbot, you do not need to download additional applications. After making an appointment with the therapist, just click on the link from the SMS message or push notification that will be sent to the patient on the eve of the appointment. Then, in a special survey form, you need to specify the complaints and answer the questions.

The chatbot is integrated with the EMIAS system, and all complaints are recorded in the examination report, so the doctor can analyze all the information received at the beginning of the appointment. This helps to quickly assess the patient's complaints and form the questions necessary to clarify the diagnosis. During the appointment, the doctor clarifies the information obtained using the chatbot, and if necessary, corrects it. The general practitioner spends about 30 percent of the total time of the appointment to collect the medical history. Thanks to the chatbot, this time can be reduced by almost half and more attention can be paid to examining the patient, diagnosing his condition and prescribing therapy.

The development of algorithms based on which the service operates was carried out using depersonalized data from electronic medical records, reference books and databases on medicine. Along with IT specialists, practitioners participated in its creation. They developed clarifying questions and tested the service.
