Malignant pathology of the stomach. MCSC patient history

News

Patient I., 58 years old, applied to the Complex Diagnostics Center MCSC named after A.S. Loginov to undergo an examination of the body.

For about a year, the man was worried about constant abdominal pain. But, in connection with my employment at work, I did not go to the doctors, but was treated myself. The pain syndrome increased, and the patient began to sleep poorly. Self-treatment did not bring relief.

Specialists of the Center for Complex Diagnostics selected the optimal gastroenterological Check-up program, and the necessary examinations were carried out within one day:

  • blood tests;
  • Ultrasound of the abdominal cavity;
  • gastroscopy;
  • colonoscopy.

Ultrasound revealed a significant increase in all groups of lymph nodes that stuck together and squeezed the internal organs. According to gastroscopy, a pronounced erosive and ulcerative lesion of the stomach was found: the edges of the ulcer were changed, which gave the impression of a malignant process. Suspected lymphoproliferative disease – malignant disease of lymphoid tissue. Therefore, a biopsy was performed from the altered areas of the gastric mucosa.

According to the results of the examination, SMALL lymphoma of the stomach was diagnosed. On the same day, the patient was consulted by the hematologist of our Center, who recommended starting treatment in the hospital. After 2 days, he was hospitalized for the first course of drug treatment. After the first course of therapy, the patient noted a pronounced clinical effect, abdominal pain decreased significantly. Repeated ultrasound showed a decrease in lymph nodes. Treatment will continue.

The patient's history demonstrates how important it is to undergo a medical examination in a timely manner. For your convenience, the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov has organized a "Center for complex diagnostics", on the basis of which you will be able to undergo comprehensive Check-up programs on an outpatient basis within 1-2 days, receive recommendations from leading specialists on further observation, treatment and, if necessary, be hospitalized in one of the specialized departments of our Center.
