Master class on thoracic surgery from the MCSC expert
NewsOn November 18, a master class on thoracic surgery "Modern approaches to the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer" was held at the Republican Oncological Dispensary of the Chuvash Republic. The experience was shared with colleagues by the head of the Department of thoracoabdominal surgery of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Professor, MD Arif Allahverdiev. The event was attended by surgeons of the Republican Oncological Dispensary and the Republican Clinical Hospital.
A specialist of our Center performed a minimally invasive operation to remove lung tumors - thoracoscopic lobectomy with systematic lymph dissection.
After completing the practical part, the professor gave lectures on the principles of staging lung cancer and on modern aspects of targeted therapy for non-small cell lung cancer.
