NewsThe number of additional professional education programs for doctors is constantly growing on the basis of the DM Personnel Center.
So, in early May, two new areas of advanced training were launched, dedicated to modern approaches to the treatment of liver and intestinal diseases.
One of the developers of the program "Pathology of the liver and intestines" was the chief freelance specialist in gastroenterology of the DM, head of the Department of intestinal Pathology of the MNCC named after A.S. Loginov Oleg Knyazev.
He said that it is important for gastroenterologists to constantly update their knowledge about the most effective methods of diagnosis and treatment, since diseases of the digestive system remain quite common among all age categories.
"Diseases of the digestive system make up a significant part of the overall structure of morbidity, they are quite diverse and can occur at any age. At the same time, the detection of such pathologies at an early stage in the absolute majority of cases allows for effective treatment. That is why it is so important that doctors have access to the most up-to-date scientific and practical information in this field. So the development of new training programs on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of liver and intestinal diseases is of great importance," Oleg Knyazev said.
The program discusses modern methods of treating pathologies such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, pseudomembranous colitis, diverticular disease, and others.
The personnel center of the Moscow Department of Health has no analogues both in Russia and in other countries of Eastern Europe. Continuous professional education is taking place on an area of more than 4,000 square meters, evaluation and accreditation events are being held for specialists of the capital's healthcare system. The center is equipped with more than 1100 units of high-tech simulation and medical equipment. 31 training stations are used to develop practical skills and assess professional competencies. The site of the Personnel Center is accredited in 89 medical specialties.
