Igor Evgenievich Khatkov met with the director of the National Oncology Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academician Jamil Aliyev and leading specialists in the field of healthcare of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- The meeting was held within the framework of the conference "Topical aspects of pancreatic cancer surgery".igor evgenievich presented the experience of MCSC in laparoscopic surgery of the pancreas with vascular resections.
An important topic of the event was the development of cooperation in the field of cancer care and scientific programs of Russian and Azerbaijani doctors.
Also Prof. Khatkov held a master class in surgery.He performed laparoscopic pancreatoduodenal resection in a patient with a complex case of pancreatic cancer.
- The operation was observed by leading surgeons of the cancer center, as well as teachers and students of the Sechenov University branch.
