Surgeons of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov performed the most difficult and rare operation on a patient from Slovenia.

Doctors removed a tumor weighing 45 kilograms — a case that was declared hopeless in European clinics, refusing the patient treatment.

The operation lasted 5 hours. It was performed by Igor Evgenievich Khatkov— Director of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, chief oncologist of the DM, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, together with a team of specialists from the Department of pelvic Oncosurgery.
