MCSC experts at the International Congress of the European Pancreatology Club in Istanbul
NewsFrom June 24 to 27, the International Congress of the European Pancreatology Club EPC 2026 was held in Istanbul (Turkey), bringing together specialists in the field of diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases from Europe, America, Southeast Asia and the Far East.
The event was attended by experts of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, who presented 4 poster and 1 oral report made as part of the section of the best scientific abstracts of the conference:
- Bordin Dmitry Stanislavovich, Head of the Department of Pathology of the pancreas, biliary tract and Upper digestive tract, Professor, MD.
- Dubtsova Elena Anatolyevna, radiologist, MD.
- Lesko Konstantin Alexandrovich, radiologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
- Kiryukova Maria Anatolyevna, gastroenterologist, Ph.D.
- Savina Irina Vladimirovna, gastroenterologist
Special attention of the audience was attracted by a report on the differential diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis using a new method of processing the results of computed tomography developed at the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.
The audience of the poster sections showed keen interest in the achievements of the A.S. Loginov MCSC team in the diagnosis of autoimmune pancreatitis, correction of the functional state of the pancreas after surgery and in advanced pancreatic cancer, as well as in studying the prevalence of fatty degeneration of the pancreas in its malignant neoplasms.
