Hodgkin's lymphoma: review of treatment at MCSC

The MCSC patient Olga Fedorovna applied to the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov in May 2021. She had complaints about:

  • feeling unwell;
  • rapid growth of the supraclavicular lymph node;
  • the appearance and rapid growth of a neoplasm on the right side of the neck.

According to the results of the examination, the diagnosis was established – Hodgkin's lymphoma (nodular sclerosis). This is a disease in which the lymphatic system, which is responsible for immunity in the human body, is affected.

Specialists of the Hematology and Hemoblastosis Chemotherapy Department of the A.S. Loginov MCSC branch on Akademika Pavlova Street decided to conduct several courses of polychemotherapy. As a result of the treatment, the patient's well-being improved and the neoplasm in the neck area decreased.

At the moment, Olga Fedorovna feels well, leads an active life and continues to undergo follow-up examinations by a hematologist at the district polyclinic.

Olga Fedorovna told more about her treatment at MCSC in our video.
