Ulcerative colitis. MCSC patient feedback
Today we are telling the story of our patient Irina.
She is 50 years old. In 2013, she began to be disturbed:loose stools up to 5 times a day
- bloating and rumbling in the stomach
- Weakness
She also lost 20 kg of weight. However, she associated these symptoms with stress due to hard work, but still decided to undergo an examination, after which she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.For several years, the patient was treated in different clinics, took medications, followed a diet, but relapses of the disease constantly occurred, the condition worsened.
Then she was recommended to go to the IBD treatment department of MCSC.
After a comprehensive examination, our doctors confirmed the diagnosis and adjusted the therapy, which helped to put the disease into remission.Today, Irina is regularly examined at our Center and complies with all the recommendations of our specialists.
And most importantly – he feels good and leads an active life.
