The exhibition "Artivism": art therapy against breast cancer

Last week, the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov opened an exhibition of the project "Artivism", where the authors of the works were women who successfully underwent treatment and rehabilitation for breast cancer (breast cancer).

During the solemn event, oncologists from MCSC told about modern approaches to the treatment of breast cancer, features of therapy and non-drug support for patients.

"The treatment of such patients takes place at the most modern world level. The operation of three accelerators is put into operation. That is, today we can provide radiation therapy for such patients in our clinic," said Igor Khatkov, Director of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, MD.

In turn, the heads of the MOD "Movement against Cancer" Svetlana Bokova and Nikolai Dronov spoke about the importance of mutual patient support and the role of the patient organization.
