History of the Department of Orthopedics and Complex Trauma

The Department of Orthopedics and Complex Trauma of the Loginov Moscow State Medical Center was established in 2015 by a brilliant clinician, Candidate of Medical Sciences Grigory Vladimirovich Fedoruk.

Under the leadership of G. V. Fedoruk, the department has successfully implemented and improved all modern methods of treating diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, minimally invasive arthroscopic interventions on the joints, knee and hip replacement, reconstructive operations on the feet, as well as vertebrological operations.

Grigory Vladimirovich was an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, in particular large joints. He operated on outstanding Russian and foreign athletes. He was a master of sports in judo.

He was actively engaged in scientific and practical activities, was a member of the Russian Arthroscopic Society and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedists (AAOS).

In 2012, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Department of Health of the City of Moscow "For long-term and conscientious work", in 2015-the Certificate of Honor of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection "For the development and use of invasive methods of treatment, the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of orthopedics and the establishment of high standards in the work of the department".

In 2018, G. V. Fedoruk was awarded the title of "Honorary Medical Worker of the City of Moscow", and in 2019, for his services in the field of healthcare and many years of conscientious work, Grigory Vladimirovich was rewarded with the Gratitude of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Unfortunately, in July 2020, Grigory Vladimirovich Fedoruk completed his brilliant life path.
