General variable hypogammaglobulinemia

General variable hypogammaglobulinemia (OVGG) is a hereditary disease characterized by a violation of the production of immunoglobulins, and, consequently, a decrease in immunity. The disease occurs at any age: in children-after 2 years, in adults after 16, more often in the third decade of life. The disease is characterized by frequent recurrent infections. These include chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, sinusitis, otitis media, etc. As a rule, persistent diarrhea appears, the patient begins to lose weight, hemoglobin decreases, muscle cramps, general weakness, and swelling of the legs occur. The patient loses his ability to work.
