The conference "Continuity in oncology: from diagnosis to treatment" was held in Kursk. The event, held on the basis of the Kursk Oncological Research and Clinical Center named after G.E. Ostroverkhov, was organized by the Moscow Society of Medical Geneticists with the support of MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.

The opening ceremony was attended by Igor Khatkov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chief freelance oncologist of the Moscow Department of Health, Director of the MCSC named after A.S. Loginov.

In the business part of the program MCSC experts made presentations:"Modern approaches to the treatment of early breast cancer": Natalia Polshina, oncologist;"Tactics of surgical treatment of patients with BRCA-associated breast cancer": Gourami Kvetenadze, Head of the Breast Cancer Department;"Analysis of Her2 and PDl1 indicators in gastric cancer for internal quality control": Nikolay Karnaukhov, Head of the pathology department.

In total, more than 20 leading Russian and foreign specialists in the field of prevention, diagnosis, drug and surgical treatment of tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, breast, melanoma and lung presented their reports during the conference. Much attention was paid to the biological mechanisms of the development of malignant neoplasms, as well as molecular genetic diagnostics in oncology.
